Henry VIII Shooting Lodge Renovation

This project was for the renovation of the historic fabric of the lodge, including re-pointing and relaying of brick and stonework using traditional lime mortars and pointing techniques. It was important to match the bond of the brickwork, using a traditional Flemish bond with stretchers and headers and imperial bricks.

In other sections, where stone was used, and where long, thin stretchers were present, the importance of not obscuring the faces, whilst retaining the appropriate bed and perp dimensions relates to the originality of the work.

A thoroughly enjoyable project we were proud to be involved with.
