This project at Highbridge Mill, West Sussex, was part of an exhaustive renovation and restoration of the listed Mill. All the mechanicals internally and the wheel have been faithfully restored, yet the waterways were very silted up and restricted flow to an unusable state. Our involvement was to re-instate the waterways and get things moving again. Assigned to re-instate the ditches and courses and return the landscape to its former necessitated much excavation but with due diligence and respect for the mature setting.

Now complete the wheel is free and working as intended and the landscape is returned to its original state albeit with modern drainage technology to ensure longevity and workability for many years to come.
